Sometimes, you need an extra pair of eyes and ears to help you better evaluate your pet’s quality of life. With this type of consult, we CANNOT prescribe or diagnose or make any recommendations about your pet’s medical condition without an in-person physical exam. We CAN help you identify signs of pain, discomfort, and distress that affect the quality of life and help you decide what kind of care you want for your pet at the end and how to best provide this care (next steps). 

You must be a current hospice or palliative care patient to schedule this type of appointment. This is a one-on-one online visit using Zoom (or a phone call if you don’t have access to the internet) to discuss changes in behavior, quality of life, or other symptoms and make any necessary adjustments to medications or care plan. The booking fee is for the first 15 minutes. Additional time will be at $128/hour, up to 45 minutes.
