Acupuncture and Pain Management

A gentle treatment that can help to alleviate many of your pet’s symptoms

Lovingkind Acupuncture

Many of our patients are very fragile and cannot tolerate a lot of medications.

Acupuncture is a gentle treatment that can help to alleviate many of the symptoms of a terminal disease without serious side effects. Chronic and acute pain, neurologic problems, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and inappetence are some of the symptoms commonly treated with acupuncture.

What does acupuncture help with?

Acupuncture can help to alleviate many symptoms such as pain, nausea, inappetence, neurologic problems, and diarrhea. If you are interested in acupuncture treatments in the home for your pet, schedule an acupuncture treatment with Dr. Alex Dahlgren.

You may instead schedule a hospice consult or follow-up with Dr. Dahlgren, and she will discuss with you whether or not acupuncture treatments may be beneficial and can treat during the hospice consult, as well as make other recommendations for quality of life and care.

New patients may schedule a virtual (online) QOL consult prior to scheduling their first in-home visit. All in-home care with our doctor is $142 per hour plus travel fee.
